The Ollie Swaddle

We didn't use these with our son, but I know so many who love these swaddles. Moisture-wicking material, easy diaper change access, and easy to use as a transition swaddle when baby is ready.

HALO Swaddle

By far our favorite swaddle. This swaddle keeps baby nice and snug, and once you're ready to transition, the swaddle portion just drops under baby's arms and you can continue using it until he outgrows the sleep sack. After trying countless different swaddles, we always went back to this one.  It's also easy to transition out of and turns into a regular sleep sack when baby is ready.

Burt's Bees Baby Wearable Blanket

This sleep sack is my hands-down favorite. It's lightweight for spring and summer, so soft, and 100% organic cotton. The arms fit nice and snug underneath, and the bottom section is huge, but in a good way. My son is currently in a size large - he's 23 lbs and 33 inches tall. And he can probably be in this for at least another 6 months.

HALO Bassinet

Keeps baby as close as you like while still safely in his own separate sleep area, reducing the risks associated with bed-sharing.

LectroFan

Baby is used to all the white noise occurring inside your womb. When outside the womb white noise continues to help soothe, but also drowns out external noises and signals to baby that it's time to sleep. Use white noise for all sleep periods and for the entire duration. Should be between 50-65 decibels and no louder. Think the volume of if you had the shower running in the same room.

Infant Optics Monitor

It's essential to be able to see what baby is doing, if baby has rolled over and gotten stuck, and if you have an older baby you need to know what they're doing in their room or crib. If you're going to be sleep training, this is a requirement for all of my clients. We love this award monitor because you can add multiple cameras, it has excellent range, and it doesn't use WiFi or an app.

LumiPets Night Light

A fun and squishy nightlight for the toddler who expresses a fear of the dark (typically not until after 2 yrs old). Remember to use a red or orange color dimmed all the way and placed away from your child for sleep periods.

WubbaNub Pacifier

Pacifiers are an amazing soothing tool and can reduce the risk of SIDS when used during naps and nighttime sleep. Once baby is old enough to have a small stuffed animal in his crib (closer to 12 months) we love WubbaNubs! It's both a soothing pacifier and security animal.

Hatch Rest

I love this for my toddler clients. We use it to program visual cues for bedtime routine, when to stay in bed, when to get out of bed, and for quiet time. Make sure that nightlight is a reddish/orange for all sleep periods!

Lectrofan Kinder

White noise is essential to a good night's sleep. This provides non-looping white noise (we use the attic fan), and a customizeable nightlight. And it's controlled with an easy app. This travels everywhere with us and eliminates the need to have to carry a separate nightlight.

Portable Crib

Keep it simple. Your portable crib doesn't need a bouncer, mobile, changing table or vibrating rocker. It just needs a bassinet portion for when baby is under 4 months old. We love our Babytrend portable crib because of the lower price point, and because it didn't come with a million accessories. We used this as a bassinet until transitioning my son to his crib, take it with us anytime we travel, and we currently have it as daycare!

Baby K'tan Baby Carrier

If I could only have one item for my newborn (other than diapers), this would be it. A life safer for newborn days to help baby nap safely. This sling wrap easily slips on like a t-shirt without any wrapping or buckling. Cloth baby slings allow you to carry baby from birth to toddlerhood in multiple positions.

Ergobaby Carrier

When my kiddo was 4 months old and I needed more support than my wrap could offer, I loved my Erogbaby 360. It was comfortable enough to walk or hike in, I could discreetly breastfeed in public, and it offered lumbar support. For warmer climates I would look at the mesh version because it does get warm.
